The Opportunity
This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Global Opportunities Team. The Global Opportunities Team is responsible for delivering all student and staff mobility initiatives including student exchange, study abroad and summer and short programmes.
The Global Opportunities Coordinator: Outbound International Mobility will ensure the successful delivery of outbound international mobility initiatives for Keele students. Working with partner institutions, colleagues in Schools, Faculties and professional services, the role holder will develop Keele mobility programmes to expand the number of students undertaking international mobility. Whilst ensuring all future initiatives are developed with Turing aims and objectives in mind, the role holder will work closely with colleagues at international partner institutions to implement initiatives, visiting partners as required.
By taking a lead in administering the University’s mobility funding through Erasmus+ and Turing, the role will facilitate increased access to international activity for APP students and build on and contribute to the work being done to expand international work placement activity at School and institutional level. Developing promotional events, marketing materials and initiatives to encourage students to spend time overseas on mobility. In addition, overseeing the recruitment and deployment of Peer Advisors, to assist in providing advice and guidance to students on their mobility journey through 1-2-1 sessions, workshops, events, each tailored and targeted, whilst coordinating financial resources to achieve this.
