As part of ongoing development, it works with Higher Education Partners (HEP) to deliver online programmes, such as the level 7 (Masters) Computer Science, Computer Science (AI) and Computer Science (Data Science) programmes, which are delivered in partnership with the School of Computer Science and Mathematics.
The 0.2 FTE role of Computer Science and Mathematics Online Level 7 Programmes (HEP) Director oversees and manages the development of the online School’s HEP programmes, comprising a rolling set of modules, and culminating in an individual project. The role oversees the quality, development and delivery of teaching and marking, via the contracting and management of subject experts (session teachers) and module tutors. The role also liaises with HEP, with online programmes committees and staff in Keele, and with staff delivering material on other programmes with related modules in the School. The role works with a dedicated administrator responsible for the online programmes (HEP, Apprenticeships and a franchise degree) across the Faculty of Natural Sciences, as well as the School Education Director.
