Fixed Term until 31st July 2022
This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Institute for Innovation and Teaching Excellence (KIITE), on a project to develop short courses at Undergraduate level. KIITE brings together educational experts from across our University: academic developers, student learning experts, learning technologists and employability consultants and works with staff to develop the curriculum offer. Apprenticeships provision is coordinated through the Directorate, working closely with employers in design and delivery. This project is geared towards developing short courses as a pilot activity, diversifying the programme portfolio to meet the skills needs of employers.
The postholder will play a lead role in shaping the flexible model of delivery, initially for two short course pilots focused on Data and AI and Net Zero. We are looking for a talented individual who is able to work with a high degree of autonomy with key internal and external stakeholders, including academics, consultants and employers. The postholder will be expected to lead on the development of flexible delivery models for the short courses, employing instructional design methods to enhance a blended offer which meets employer and participant requirements.
For internal candidates, this post may be available as a secondment.
Please note, secondments require authorisation from your line manager. It is therefore advisable that you discuss your application with your manager before submitting it.
